The idea for the cake came from my good friend Camille and wonderous internet searching abilities. (she also found me a great white sweater last night on e bay...and I won it! thanks Cam!!)
One look at the model and G was SOLD! Monkey cake for her birthday it was.
The ears are doughnuts if that doesn't make it just the bomb.
Hubby came to the rescue with it however. You did have to "paint" a kidney shaped pink mouth with frosting. There was simply no way I was going to be able to make this straight. I roll the paint....he trims. So, it was a joint effort. He did a great job don't you think?
I am responsible for the taste, cupcakes and eyes. The rest was all Daddy! :)
