Winter blahs continue. I feel like I'm pushing up hil though. Sigh.
Today my 5 year old says, "I wish we could just go play at the pool today"
Me too sweetie!
Then she chimes, "Well, at least there aren't any bees around"
True. I haven't had a bee problem in a good long while. Thanks S.

Bloggedy Blog Blog
Pretty quiet on the blog front.
(stop reading if you have had all the whine you can take for today thank you)
Got a case of the winter blahs here this week I think. I didn't realize they were as bad as they were until today when it all just hit the fan.
Everything the kids did today bugged me to no end. I was not the best Mom for them today. I didn't want to be around anyone really so much and this included being around myself, which, if you've ever tried, is rather hard to escape from....just sayin.
I need a break, its only been 16 days since I had one. I've sure gone a whole lot longer. But the loading everyone up in winter gear multiple times each day has just run its course. I'm tired of skating about in ice filled parking lots. I want to wash my truck with out fear of killing the seals on the doors. I'm tired of hanging up coats, stashing away hats and mittens, cleaning floors from muddy drippy boots. I'm tired of being happy about another playdough mess, or dress up, or painting, or just about any winter kid occupying activity you can think of.
I lost it at shower time tonight after having to explain for the 15 bazillionth time that YES the shower curtain MUST BE CLOSED when the shower is on as I'm looking at my now dripping wet bathroom while standing in wet socks. Which I realize has nothing at all to do with winter but it shows my frame of mind. Its relocated to approximately 6 paces south of crazy.
Hubby came home about 9 tonight, which is an hour earlier then I expected him, to let me know things are "ramping up" Which is code for "I'm going to be even busier" He's already been gone three nights this week. Busier? Oh Joy.
I've got to find away to pull out of this winter blah mood for sure. Somehow. Before the kids trade me in for a new model.

Snow Day
as the mailbox will be next summer
J making a path for the mailman, apparently he got stuck today a few times
OH, wait, this has nothing to do with snow :)
Just a token wrestling picture, he got the better of this guy eventually,
but I didn't get a picture because
I was to busy yelling and/or holding my breath
How did I become a wrestling Mom?
My guy.
It was a tough match.
He was told he got second, but knew he didn't and that there was a scoring error.
This third place win spoke loudly for his character more then anything
I am very proud of him
