19. Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Me, he belabors and then admits....I just admit and move on with my point....I always have one ;)

20. Whose parents do you see the most? that's a toss up. His live in the same town...mine are 70 miles away....but we see them about equally. his might have a slight edge. He sees his Mom more for sure (yes, he is a bit of a mommas boy just ask his sisters)

22. Who has more friends? Me.

23. Who has more siblings? he does with 5, I have 3

24. Who wears the pants in the family? Hmmmm....on day to day stuff me. He honestly trusts me to take care of most everything day to day. On big things we talk and decide together but I encourage him to have the final say usually (and its true I do want him to have the final say a lot of the time) I think we make a good team most of the time balancing each other very well

Exhausted

I am usually a night owl and going to bed on time for me is about 11, 11:30.

Yesterday I decided to take my babe in and get her pictures taken. This was a two trip and nearly 4 hour total ordeal. And I am not exagerating on the time.

I was in bed at 10 last night...and barely made it that late.

They did get some good shots of her. Her face was no longer in the best of shape...crying will do that!

But as they say.....it is done.

Funerals

2 of the children who were killed last week had there funerals yesterday. One of the brothers was a twin. His twin sisters birthday is this coming Monday. Can you imagine? Today is the funeral of the little girl who was killed. She was a Chinese orphan. What a tramatic end to the dream. Thursday the last boy will be memoralized. Just a sad week in that small town.

The woman who rammed the bus has been identified. She had told the police a false name and said she was from Mexico. Very believable around here. However this is not the case. She has a completely different name and is here from Guatemala. I've been thinking about her a lot. The newspaper hasn't shared much in regard to her understandably. She is the enemy here. Her actions took the lives of 4 and changed the lives of many. And while this is true, eventually you have to get past that and think as she set out that day how likely was it that this was her intent? She came to court in a wheel chair, so she is not without physical pain in addition to the emotional pain I would like to imagine she probably has. I just can't think of her as completely coldhearted. So I wonder, was she treated kindly at the hospital? How are people she is in contact with treating her? What was her previous life like that she broke the many laws that she did in order to be here with this tragedy as the result? I just wonder about her.

Two things I love today

1. I found a new chi tea mix at Super Walmart (don't hate me for shopping there...honestly we don't have many options here) called Oregon Chai Vanilla Latte Mix. YUM! Perfect treat on yet another cold day

Libraries

I love our library. Love it. I love that I can reserve books online and they call me to come pick them up. Then I can renew them on line when I'm just not quite done with them. I decided that if I had to contained to one building for a long period of time, the library is where I'd want to be confined too.

Books are favorite things around here. They are everywhere....and then no where....and the library is calling to tell us that are time with them is UP! :(

Good news though, we found all there were missing. My card is officially out of hock. AND all 10 books I reserved last week are in. EEEK!!! I reserved a bunch thinking they would trickle in over time. I see late nights in my future...with a good book. Nothing wrong with that!

Happier News!!!

Anyone reading "confessions of a CF Husband" I love that blog and its testament to what God can do in our lives when we let him.

Anyway...his wife is officially on the transplant list! A fantastically great achievement for this incredible woman. Back on less then 2 months after giving birth to baby Gwenyth. Checking that blog everyday inspires my heart.

Illegal

The woman who hit the bus is an illegal immigrant. She did not have a liscence. She was on her way to work. To work at a place who currently is not denying or admitting anything about her professed employment. She has been convicted in our country just 2 years ago for driving with out a liscense.

My brain is swirling with what ifs.

Meanwhile 3 families are planning funerals for their children.
