Last day of March here. The kids will be home in about 30 minutes....early release do to SNOW!!! Where was this stuff last winter.
Add this to an extra kiddo coming home with them, AF making an early visit and being up since 4am due to teeth and I'm ready to call it a day already!! I'm not sure Calgon could save this one.

Summer Dreams
We've been makin plans! Camping plans that is. We were fortunate to purchase a larger camper earlier this spring which has been living at out house now for a month...taunting us with summer dreams. This weekend we made some reservations and more concrete plans for actual camping trips. We can all hardly wait!
With that news...comes the news....that we are suppose to get 6+ inches of snow.
What the heck.

Happier thoughts!
1. J's room is officially spring cleaned! We even flipped the matress. And tried on summer/spring clothes from his bucket. I collect clothes for the kiddos off season in larger sizes and when they fit into them wa-lah! He is set for summer. Set. A pair of shoes when the season is here and his foot has settled into a size and that is it. Thats happy.
2. The end of lent is near. I am already planning chocolate desserts I can make next week. :)
3. G at 15 months can turn summersaults! Isn't that just amazing for someone her age? She is such a fun kiddo. Always busy getting into things and just being her unique self. My former nudist loves jammies. As I'm sitting here she found the stash in the laundry basket and is carrying it around. She also can NOT stand to have her sleeves up or her pants off. We'll see how this summer goes! ;)
4. St Pats Day was yesterday and I, someone who is indeed half Irish am remiss in wishing all of my what 2 readers a Happy St Pat's day. Sorry about that....but hey...better late then never!
5. The snow and slush that feel from the sky has mostly melted today. There are bits of grass poking up all over!
6. And I am more then likely going to get a new nephew today! Momma to be is at the hospital right now wishing this part were over already! Come on baby!!! :D

I'm a grump!
I've looked at the last few posts and I notice I seem to come to my blog when I'm grumpy. I'm going to blame March. Winter is getting very old. All clothes in the closet are getting drab. The old snow outside....drab. The occasional warm moments in the weather that just tease us. Then freeze us once again. It is simply time to go. Goodbye ol man winter.
Things really aren't so bad at all. After baby G's stint with RSV and ear infections we have all, and I mean all of us avoided any other health problems. That is a true miricle and blessing. I got some new things to spruce up the living room. We have been in this house for nearly a year and it was time to do some things to it to make it more ours. One thing I LOVE is the 4 11x14 frames I got to put the kids' 8x10 pictures into. I hung them on the back wall and it is just wonderful to have our 4 blessings as such a focal point. I love that.
We bought a new to us camper that I just LOVE!!!! It has 4 bunks in the back the bottom to being at ground level so the little girls will be able to sleep there...in there own spots...with out incuring any injury!
And my just today my husband was able to fix the washing machine leak preventing me from having to call and spend money on a fix it guy!
So there....take that March! Be gone and take your drabness and grupiness with you!!

Random things
1. Trying to find a spring layout for the ol blog...not liking what I found...so moved onto summer. I always have such grand hopes for summer fun...but the reality is that being the Mom to 4 is still a lot of work...even in the summer. I digress. I've had this one up for awhile. I think I like it for now anyway.
2. Speaking of summer. Last summer I seem to have LOTS of neighborhood kids in my backyard at all hours of the day even if none of my kids were out. When questioned....these kids would say that they would just wait for my kids to come out. Fine. Whatever. I'm sure there will be another post later when it is actually summer in regard to them. My issue is that because of the random people at all hours....I really needed curtains for my sliding glass door. I have an oversized one that is very lovely. I hate to cover it up. But its become an increasing necessity. I finally found some I like called "apricot sunrise" The color of which is actually very hard to describe which is one reason I like them. They sort of blend into the woodwork....but not exactly. My point with this LONG random post....(and I do have one!) Is that they are a "crinkle" fabric...how do I get the shipping/folded creases out of them with out messing up the crinkles? I can't iron the crinkles....but the extra creases are driving me buggy.
3. I am frustrated watching my kids having to learn consequences. If they would all just do as I say and actually benefit from my vast knowledge...their lives would be so much easier!
4. I hate mopping floors. And my mine are currently very gross.
5. I hate the phone. I have several calls I have to make.
6. My random things lists has explained to me why I'm rather crabby today. Thats a plus. I guess
